Par Track

A WEBSITE CREATED THROUGH PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT, ON SQUARESPACE WITH ACUITY.

Built by me, but designed by the community

Something I don’t get to do very often but really love, is community engagement. I’ve created or commissioned a few websites this way - through participatory design. It was during the Covid pandemic and so everything had to be done online but Zoom came to the rescue! Through focus groups, phone interviews and contributions from history, I developed a site worthy of this important community asset and something I’m particularly proud of.

By the way, the site is for a running/cycle track, playing field and leisure centre so part of the build was to set-up a booking system. Acuity was more than up to the job. Probably one of the most complex builds I’ve done using Acuity.

What the client said

“Zoe at Caxton Communications impressed right from the beginning. The website build was organised and on time - with a clear plan and check points along the way. The finished website is intuitive, functional and beautiful - allowing us to clearly show our brand identity, as well as offering customers a seamless experience to access all that Par Track has to offer.”
